A lovely Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set keyless pendant form watch, circa 1880. This form watch is in the shape of a red Asian ladybug with a concealed dial.
A ladybug shaped case with spring loaded engine turned translucent red enamel wings with diamonds dots over engine turning, the inner edges of the wings, the head and the eyes diamond-set, gold, hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic hours, outer minute track and spade hands. A heart-shaped, gilt brass movement, ten jewels, cylinder escapement, plain gilt three arm balance, flat balance spring.
