A very fine five minute repeating Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch so-called Trip-Repeater, circa 1890.
3/4 plate movement, one hammer/one gong, screw compensation balance. Polished silver case. Signed and numbered Silver Cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Breguet numerals, outer minutes track, and spade hands. The repeater of this watch is activated by pressing the crown. The beautiful silver case holds a movement with an unusual plate that has a crescent shaped opening in the centre.
