Gold cylinder pocket watch
–
A Swiss/French 18 carat gold and enamel half hunting cased pocket watch from around 1850. This watch is a remarkable piece. Its gilt movement features a jewelled cylinder escapement, a plain three-arm balance, a blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator.
The white enamel dial is adorned with radial Roman numerals, an outer minute track, and original gold Breguet hands. The hinged gold cuvette is signed and numbered, adding to the watch’s authenticity. The fully engraved case, with enamel and a ribbed band, showcases exquisite craftsmanship. Opening the case back is easily done by pushing the button on the pendant. This pocket watch is a beautiful accessory. Accompanied by a box.
