An extremely rare watch with gilded brass case, overlaid with gold enamelled ‘en ronde bosse’ with a floral design, movement is signed by Claude Pascal A La Haye, The Hague, Netherlands, circa 1650-1660. Gilt brass dial with Roman numerals, full plate movement, verge escapement, gut/fusee, blued screws, three-arm brass balance. The movement and the gilt balance cock are also abundantly ornamented, movement signed.
