A French 18 carat yellow gold key winding pocket watch, circa 1830. An open faced pocket watch with dead independent seconds, exterior graduation with central hand. Activated by the rectangular push piece located on the case band at 1:30. An engine turned case back with, in the center a circle and a fluted case band. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals and blued steel fantasie hands. A gilded brass movement, two going barrels, double train of wheels, cylinder escapement, gilt brass monometallic balance and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index regulator.
