A Swiss yellow gold and enamel book-form keyless lever pendant watch, circa 1880.
Gilt movement, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, index regulator.
Glazed cuvette. White enamel dial with blue Arabic numerals, a red 12 and outer minute dots. Case in the shape of a book, diamond-paste bezel, translucent blue enamel over a guilloché background, the reverse with matching enamel decoration and painted polychrome enamel depicting a seated lady with a sheep.
