A Swiss yellow gold and enamel hunting-cased pendant watch, circa 1870, gilt three-quarter plate nickel lever movement, 15 jewels, cut-bimetallic balance, index regulator, gilt cuvette.
Silvered dial with engraved centerfield, Roman numerals, engraved 18k yellow gold case, the front with painted polychrome enamel and diamond-set scene depicting a classical lady posing, surrounded by blue and black enamel decoration, the reverse with matching decoration centered by a black enamel and diamond-set floral engraving, milled band, case and cuvette numbered.
