A very fine gold and enamel Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch with solid gold dial, circa 1930.
18 carat gold and enamel case; back with translucent ocean-blue enamel over engine turning and centred by applied white gold or platinum pattern. Gold dial with champlevé Arabic hours, auxiliary seconds and blued steel Breguet hands. Movement is 37.7 mm, rhodium plated, with 18 jewels, lever escapement with temperature compensation balance adjusted by gold screws and balance protection screws.
