A very fine and rare, small Swiss, minute repeating 18K gold pocket watch, circa 1902. Included the original Patek Philippe & Co., fitted box and spare crystal. Minute Repeater by Patek Philippe & Cie, Geneve, Made for Tilden Thurber Co., Providence. Made in 1902, sold in May 1903. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. A polished, concealed hinge. Hinged gold cuvette.

White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track and red-painted Arabic five minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 31 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed, cuvette and movement also signed by the retailer.
