A fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and opal set open faced Art Deco dress watch made for the Colombian market, circa 1930. Retailed by Ferrocarril de Antioquia, Santiago de Cali, Colombia. A keyless lever movement. The round shaped case with a hinged back decorated with polychrome champlevé enamel imitating cloisonné work and set with opals. A two-tone silvered dial with Roman hour numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued Breguet hands. Dial signed by the retailer, case and movement signed by the watchmaker.
