An elegant Swiss 18 carat yellow gold minute repeating keyless dress watch, circa 1922. A polished case with a concealed hinge and a hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. Matte gold dial with champleve Art Deco Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. Slim, rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 29 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with height adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
