Gold open faced keyless lever watch

A very rare Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1922. Accompanied by a copy of the Patek Philippe register confirming its sale to Tiffany & Co in New York, U.S.A. in 1924. The case with a hinged back and gold cuvette. Champagne coloured dial with Breguet hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. Rhodium plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, eight adjustments,
a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and an index regulator. Dial signed Patek Philippe Genève Switzerland – Tiffany & Co, case and movement signed Made for Tiffany & Co by Patek, Philippe & Co Switzerland, case and movement with matching numbers.
