A Swiss, 18 carat pink gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Charles Couleru-Meuri, La Chaux-de-Fonds, circa 1890. A polished case back. Second time zone or coaxial minute- and hour counter. Hours and minutes of a second time zone, known as doubletourd’heures (concentric hands, subsidiary dial at 12 o’clock, time setting by push pin at 1 o’clock. Coaxial 60-minute and 12-hour counter, subsidiary dial at 12 o’clock, activated by the round push piece located on the case band at 1 o’clock, for the resetting of the indexes.

White enamel dial with gilded suspended Breguet Arabic numerals and gilded metal Louis XV hands. A gilded brass movement, going barrel, straight line equilibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, index regulator, counter work mounted under the dial. Signature on the dial.
