A very fine Swiss, 18 carat yellow gold keyless dress watch with center seconds made by Patek Philippe & Cie, Geneva, circa 1927. Made for the Hispanic market, retailed by Union Suiza. A polished case, hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Art Deco Arabic numerals, outer minute and fifths of a second track with Arabic five minute/seconds numerals and blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 19 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, extra wheel and bridge for the centre seconds, straight line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
