A charming Swiss 18 carat pink gold Louis XVI keyless pocket watch, circa 1877. Sold on July 29th, 1882. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. A polished rimmed case with a concealed hinge and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with champleve Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, gold outer minute track, small seconds and gold decorative hands. Lever escapement. Dial, case, cuvette signed.

The Extract from the Archives confirms the pink gold LOUIS XVI case and the engraved monogram M.T., the LOUIS XV dial is also mentioned with gold numerals and small seconds. This watch is in very good condition and nearly perfect save an almost imperceptible hairline to the top of the dial which is only visible under magnification.
