A sophisticated Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased pocket chronometer, graduate’s work of the watchmaking school in Biel, circa 1877. Bridge movement, large gold screwed compensation balance, spring detent escapement. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, subsidiary seconds and gold hands. Plain case, signed and engraved to the inside.
