A fine and unusual Swiss, 18K gold, diamond and ruby-set pipa-shaped form watch, circa 1950. The front is set with diamonds and rubies, a large ruby at the top of the stem. A gold dial, an outer minute track, and an exposed balance wheel. Blued steel index hands. Movement shaped to the case, brushed, bimetallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, regulation dial.
