A Swiss 18k yellow gold, pearl-set and enamel keyless minute-repeating full hunter pocket watch with a chronograph, circa 1890. Made by J. Ullmann & Co., Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland with locations in Hong Kong, Shanghai & Tientsin. A polished, hinged case, decorated covers, one with an enamel portrait, the other signed and numbered with seals, engraved band, the front and rear bezels set with pearls, snap on the transparent inner cuvette.

White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with 1/5th second intervals, five-minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and gilt diamond set Louis XV hands. A gilt bar movement, jewelled to the centre with two screwed chatons, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet overcoil hairspring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a button at 7. Dial and cuvette signed.
