An extremely rare, very fine and highly decorative Swiss gold enamel fob watch in the form of an ornamental fish studded with diamonds  with original velvet case, circa 1890. The quality of the sculptural representation as well as the engraving and enamelling on the case is outstanding.
An 18 Carat gold case with opaque black and translucid red enamel, engraved, the side fins and eyes studded with ground diamonds. Enamel dial with black Roman hours, outer red Arabic five minute track, and spade hands. Heart shaped bridge movement, cylinder escapement and three arm brass balance.
