An unusual Swiss double-dialed 18K gold pocket watch, circa 1890. Two-train, eight-day going keyless watch made for the Indian market. First dial: pink enamel, gold-painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Second dial: varicoloured gold, Canada numerals, engine-turned, floral decoration, subsidiary seconds. Rhodium-platedmovement, Geneva striping decoration, two-train twin-barrels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, 23 jewels, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, blued steel Breguet balance- spring, index regulator, additional gearing from the center-wheel to operate the subsidiary seconds.
