A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced five minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1899. Retailed by Tiffany and Co.. This watch features a nickel finished, jewelled lever 17″ ligne movement. It is equipped with a white enamel dial showcasing black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer minute track with red Arabic numerals marking five minute intervals, a sunken subsidiary dial for constant seconds, and blued steel spade hands. The polished 18K gold case includes an engraved cuvette and a hinged case back. The case, dial, and movement bear the retailer’s signature. Accompanying the watch is a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives, confirming its sale date as February 15, 1900, along with a service box.

The case is in generally good condition, showing surface scratches and scuffing consistent with normal use. It has undergone a light polish. The dial remains in very good condition, free of visible hairlines and with only faint superficial scratches. The signature appears slightly faded. The minute repeater function is operational, but the movement is currently not running.
