A fine yellow gold open faced keyless five-minute repeating split-second chronograph watch with a sixty-minute register, circa 1890. A swiss nickel-plated jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, repeating on two gongs, gold cuvette, white enamel dial, painted Arabic Breguet numerals, outer minute track with 1/5 seconds divisions and 5-minute intervals marked by red-painted Arabic numerals, two recessed subsidiary dials for 60-minute register at 12 and constant seconds at 6, blued steel spade hands, plain 18k yellow gold case, recessed slider to the band to activate a repeating function, pusher above to operate the split second, slider to lock chronograph function, start, stop and reset operated by a pusher integrated into the crown, dial, case and movement signed.
