A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch with chronograph and full calendar complications, circa 1890. This watch has a mechanical crown winding movement featuring a lever escapement, a chronograph stop function activation mechanism, and a minute repeating mechanism striking the hours, quarters, and minutes. The white enamel dial shows elegant black Roman numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track calibrated to fifths of a second, a central blued steel chronograph seconds hand, a date register at 12 o’clock, a day of the week window displaying German text at 9 o’clock, a month window displaying German text at 3 o’clock, and a subsidiary seconds dial integrated with a moon phase indicator at 6 o’clock, completed with ornate gold Louis XV style hands.

The timepiece is housed in a substantial 18 carat yellow gold full hunter case featuring a polished hinged protective front cover adorned with moss guilloché engraving, a fluted winding crown, a chronograph push piece, a repeating slide, and a sturdy round suspension bow.
