A very fine, attractive, manual wind, Swiss 18K yellow gold chronograph pocket watch with a two-tone dial and open face, circa 1942, sold in November 1946.
Smooth 18K gold case with pushback. Silvered dial, applied indexes/Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, 30 min. Counter, enamelled tachy scale, baton hands. Rhodium-plated 2/3 plate movement with Geneva Stripes decoration, eight adj., 23 jewels, mirror-polished screws, very finely ground, bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, gold screw compensation balance, blued hairspring, ruby endstone on the escape wheel. Signature on the dial, case (with initials) and movement.
