–
A heavy Swiss 18K gold hunting cased bishop’s crook Ankerchronometer, circa 1870. This timepiece features an 18K gold à-goutte hunting case with case maker’s mark GW and serial numbers. It is equipped with an Ankerchronometer movement with a bishop’s crook lever, as described by Louis Audemars, and can be wound using the crown. The enamel dial is exceptionally well-preserved and showcases Roman radial hour markers, an outer minutes track, subsidiary seconds dial, and elegant pink gold hands. Overall, it is in good condition and is currently in working order.
