An extremely rare, historically interesting Swiss gold hunting cased repeater, circa 1902. Made by the court watchmaker of the Russian Tsar, Henry Moser, probably a gift watch of the Emir of Bukhara.
Polished 14K gold case. Very fine quality precision lever movement, repeating the hours and quarters, spring lid inside with Russian gift dedication from 1902. Signed original enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and blued steel hands. Signed case, movement and dial.

Henry Moser pocket watches with complications are extremely rare and wanted collector’s items. The Cyrillic dedication: ‘Von seiner Hoheit Emir von Buchara, 12. Februar 1902’. Seyyid Mir Mohammed Alim Khan, Uzbek Said Mir Muhammad Amirhon (* 3 January 1880; † 28 April 1944 in Kabul) was the last Emir of the Emirate of Bukhara until his expulsion by the Bolsheviks in 1920.
