An elegant Swiss 18 carat yellow gold and cloisonne enamel pocket watch, circa 1880.
A solid, polished case, the entire case is decorated in multicolour cloisonné enamel floral and leaf motif. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the technical details, apertures for winding and setting. White enamel dial with painted radial black Turkish numerals, outer minute track and yellow gold Breguet hands. Frosted gilt movement, standing barrel, eight jewels, over-hanging ruby cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat-blued steel balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
