A Swiss 18 carat pink gold minute repeating keyless pocket watch with a chronograph., circa 1890. A solid, polished case, co-axial button in the crown for the start/stop and return-to-zero of the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute and 1/5th seconds divisions with Arabic 5-minute/seconds numerals and blued steel spade hands. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 35 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
