A fine, heavy Swiss gentleman’s pocket chronometer of exceptional quality, circa 1890.
Signed very fine Ankerchronometer movement, special fine adjusting device, specially balanced lever, glazed movement. Signed enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track with red five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and pink gold Louis XV-style hands. Special 18K pink gold case of outstanding quality with Vacheron & Constantin case punch and case numbered.
