Gold watch with engraved monogram by Longines

A large Swiss keyless-winding gentleman’s pocket watch with minute repeater and rare 24-hour dial, circa 1914.
Very fine precision lever movement, gold screwed-chaton (setting) on the central wheel, lever escapement, minute-repeater on two steel gongs (activated by the slide at 9 o’clock). Enamel dial with Breguet-style numerals (1-12), red Arabic outer numerals (13-0), outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and original pear hands. Round-shaped 18K yellow gold case. Case back engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) with the cypher J C. Inside case back engraved with the date 1932. Dial, case and movement signed.
Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives, dated December 20, 2019, that mentioned this watch was invoiced on July 22, 1914, to the Longines agent, Maison Perusset, France.
