A very fine and large Swiss, 18K pink gold, double-dialled keyless pocket watch, circa 1890. With moon phases, lunar and double date calendar. A polished front cover with initials. White enamel dial on the front with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds, and large inner moon phase aperture with a lunar calendar on the edge. Gold hands. Annular white enamel dial on the reverse with an outer black Arabic chapter for the dates, inner days of the week, and the centre exposing the movement. A nickel-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
