A very fine Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch with unusual crown wind by Olivier Courvoisier in Neuchâtel, circa 1880.
18 carat rose gold case, tiered and polished, with engraved monogram, engine turned gold dome and case maker’s punch mark “DB”. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and blued spade hands. Bridge movement, frosted and gilt, with patented winding system, screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
