A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold quarter repeating keyless pocket watch with chronograph, circa 1890. A polished case with a polished band and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost chronograph track divided into fifths of a second and blued steel spade hands. Frosted gilt movement, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band.
