Gold minute repeating chronograph with register by Audemars Piguet

An excellent, keyless-winding, Swiss, minute repeating gold pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph, 60-minute register, and extract from the Archives, made for the English market, circa 1905. Round-shaped, 18-carat yellow gold case with hinged case back and minute-repeater on two steel gongs (activated by the slide at 8 o’clock). Enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes/seconds track with Arabic 1/5 second chronograph scale (triggered by the winding-crown, subsidiary dial for the seconds at 6, split-seconds (activated by the rectangular push-piece located on the case band at 11 o’clock), dragging 60-minute recorder (subsidiary dial at 12 o’clock), and blued spade hands. Rhodium-plated movement with going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, compensated balance, blued steel hairspring with a terminal curve, and an index regulator with swan-neck spring and micrometric screw.
