With a long history dating back to the 18th century, Frères Rey & Cie was a well-known Swiss watch manufacturer and retailer. The company was founded in the early 19th century by the Rey brothers, who came from a highly respected watchmaking family in Geneva. Although the workshop was located in Saint-Gervais, the company, unfortunately, had to declare bankruptcy on October 1, 1821. Nevertheless, the Rey brothers’ impact on Swiss watchmaking is still recognized and commemorated today.
