A fine Swiss 18 carat gold keyless pocket watch made for the South American market by Paul Jeannot in Geneva, Switzerland, circa 1900. A fine gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch, cover and caseback engine turned. The champlevé enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The border and the center of the dial are embellished with applied gold flowers. A nickel plated movement, damascened in different patterns, 15 jewels, cut bimetallic two arm compensation balance, straight line lever escapement, Breguet balance spring. The case and movement are signed.
