A Swiss 18K gold half-hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1880. An engine-turned case with polished borders and band, the front cover with radial black enamel Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring, inner minute track, the back cover with engraved foliate monogram and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, Arabic five-minute numerals and gold spade hands.
A rhodium-plated movement, 12 jewels, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
