An exquisite and rare, early Patek Philippe splendour hunting cased watch with special case decoration “Vermicelle”, with extract from the archives, circa 1855. An 18K gold, extremely intricate case engraving “Vermicelle”, noted in the extract from the archives, special case quality with glazed dome, high movement quality with very large compensation balance, wolf’s toothing, enamel dial in perfect condition, blued steel hands, case and movement matching number, case, movement and dial signed Tiffany, in working order, very beautiful condition, completely original, with signed original box. The watch comes with an extract from the archives. The watch was made in 1855 and sold to Tiffany in 1859.
