A magnificent, Swiss 18K gold pocket watch with fine special quality Ankerchronometer movement, Circa 1880.
Exquisite Ankerchronometer movement, wolf’s toothing, pink gold wheels, especially large chronometer balance, fine adjusting device, all bridges with decoration, Louis Audemars bishop’s crook lever. Especially beautiful enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track with red Arabic five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds in red, and gilt pear hands. 18K pink gold case, both sides very decoratively faceted, case maker’s punch EHD with crown.
