Patek Philippe produced only a few pocket watch chronometers with this observatory calibre, a few with lever escapement and a few with spring detent escapement. This special edition with golden wheels and cylindrical hairspring was probably made for the English market. A comparable chronometer from the same year was sold in a Geneva auction.
