A gentleman’s fine and large quarter repeating pocket watch with musical movement of extraordinary sound quality, circa 1815. 18k gold case, engine turned, engraved dome, case maker punch mark “TF”. Dial is gold, Champlevé, radial Roman numerals, blued scotties hands. Bridge movement, keywind, frosted, gilt, blued screws, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, 1 barrel for going train, 1 barrel for musical movement, pinned disc, 28 vibrating blades, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass ring balance.
