A very fine and rare German, 14k yellow gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket lever chronometer with Guillaume balance, circa 1916. Accompanied by a gold chain, the original fitted box with spare mainspring as well as the original certificate. A solid, polished Lucia case, hinged gold cuvette. Three-piece dial white enamel with dauphine numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold spade hands. A Glashütte 3/4-plate, frosted gilt movement, 16 jewels, straight-line Glashütte Anchor chronometer escapement, gold pallet fork, Guillaume balance with gold timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
