A Swiss lever by Rolex in a gold half hunter cased, hallmarked Birmingham circa 1929. Keyless spotted nickelled bar movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, and blue steel half hunter hands. Plain 9 carat Dennison half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, engraved monogram on the back cover. Maker’s mark ‘ALD’ in a rectangle.
