A Swiss minute repeating hunting cased pocket watch with chronograph, circa 1890.
14 carat pink gold case with engraved monogram, gold dome, case maker’s punch mark “JN”, pusher for chronograph at “2” and pusher for repetition at “12”. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, spade hands and centre chronograph hand. Bridge movement, frosted and gilt, with finely ground and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, two hammers / two gongs, governor for repetition and gold screw compensation balance.
