Silver-gilt repeating clock watch made for the Chinese market

A Swiss key-winding unusual silver-gilt and garnet set quarter repeating clock watch with centre seconds made for the Chinese market, circa 1890. Jewelled lever two-train movement with bimetallic balance and overcoiled spring, 3 polished hammers striking on gongs, push button at three o’clock for quarter repeating.
White enamel dial with black Roman numerals and outer seconds chapter, gilt and paste-set hands, subsidiary seconds at 6. Gilt metal plated case, the back set with garnets in the shape of a star, reeded band, dial signed.
