A fine and rare Swiss 18K pink gold keyless pocket watch with dual date digital calendar and chronograph, circa 1875. The back cover with applied foliate gold monogram JD, a co-axial button in the crown for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph, button at 11 for hand-setting. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the technical details within an engine turned and florally engraved border. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and 1/5th of second chronograph divisions, subsidiary seconds dial, apertures for the days of the week and date and rose-cut diamond-set pink gold hands. A nickel-plated movement, 21 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work. Dial, case and cuvette signed.
