A very fine Swiss 18K pink gold, keyless, minute repeating, hunting cased dress watch by Patek Philippe & Co. Genève, circa 1898. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands.

Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, wolf’s tooth winding, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator, repeating with two hammers on two gongs activated by a slide in the band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
