An extremely rare early Vacheron & Constantin pocket chronometer with chronometer escapement, Genèva circa 1880. An 18K pink gold, à-goutte case, very rare chronometer movement with special rocker, signed on the bridge, enamel dial, filigree steel hands, in working order, dial with small imperfections at the rim, otherwise in very beautiful condition. Pocket chronometers by Vacheron & Constantin are extremely rare.
