A Swiss hunting cased pocket watch in a rare lavishly decorated niello silver case, circa 1905.
Niello silver Case, inlaid foliate scrolls and banner: Freundschaft – Belehrung – Solidarität – Fundatum 1877 and six-pointed star. Inner lid with presentation engraving: Dem verdienstvollen Beisitzenden der Schweiz. Landes Verwaltung Herrn I. Fugner gewidm. von den Schweiz. Sectionen des I.G.V.. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, and blued Breguet hands. Frosted, gilt 4/5 plate movement with screw compensation balance and index spring fine adjusting device.
