An unusual Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch with mock pendulum and alarm, circa 1900 – with original wooden box.
Tiered, polished, nickel case. Enamel dial with polychrome painting “a Neuenburg pendulum clock”, Roman numerals, aperture for mock pendulum, turnable bezel and glass for setting the alarm, inscription “Brevet Dépose” and Louis XV gold hands. Rhodium-plated, decorated, 1/2 plate movement with one hammer / one bell and monometallic screw balance.
